Am I trying to avoid all carbohydrate, or just sugar? What am I looking out for on nutrition labels?
For example, toasted cassava flour shows
Carbohydrate 88%
Sugar 0%
Fibre 7%
Protein 1.2%
Fat 0%
Paleo pancake mix shows
Carbohydrate 31%
Sugar 2.3%
Fibre 13%
Protein 18%
Fat 20%
Are either of these suitable for a LCHF diet? I'm thinking more to use as thickeners than to have as a complete dish.
