So...

Going into the new year I weighed 11st. We drank and ate a lot in December so decided to do dry Jan. Week one we ate lots of chocolate in the evening just did some naughtiness. But since then i've eaten well and I mean not lots of food but also the right food. The past week I've tried to walk each day and get the 10,000 steps. I cannot exercise atm otherwise I'd be doing workouts. I drink two litres of water a day. I sleep well. I gave up smoking 29 days ago and I started antipsychotic meds three weeks ago.

I know meds can slow you metabolism and I know stopping smoking can make you snack more.

But I have lost ZERO weight. Why??

Have you tracked your calories?

Are you doing proper LCHF?

Zoink · 29/01/2021 12:23

Oh! Hahaha forgot to mention - I now want to start trying low or no carbs for two weeks!

OH MY WORD. Could it be...

So I used to only see my partner at weekends and Mon to Thurs I hardly EVER ate dinner as it was just me and the baby. We've now lived together for three months and I eat dinner EVERY night. Throughout Nov and Dec I ate a large portions!! Jan I've lessened them.

Google the whoosh effect.

If you've been eating a 1000 calories a day, you should 100% be losing weight. Especially with exercise thrown in.
