Almond flour or gluten free flour?

Am not sure which to go for and would appreciate any advice please!

I have an intolerance to gluten plus am trying to go low carb and lose weight. Has anyone tried both and found one better than the other for weightloss?

I like the taste of gluten free best for baking, but would put up with almond if it helps with losing weight quicker!

Tia

Almond flour is lower carb. Be aware that it can be very expensive. I use ground almonds (Tesco's own brand, or from Aldi or Lidl) and everything I make turns out fine. Almond flour is made from blanched almonds and is ground more finely than ground almonds. I think that's the only difference, but there is a very big difference in the price
