Hi everyone,

Have been researching keto/low carb and want to start but struggling to think of different meals ideas.

Would love to know a typical day for you or some of your favourite meals. Thanks!

Dh likes a burger with lettuce leaves as a bun.

How about a tray of roasted veg and salmon and feta cheese sprinkled on top after.
Or a large roast chicken with avocado, salad and bacon?
Cheese and mushroom omelette,i used to make a hugh one and would warm it up in the microwave for the following few days.

Spaghetti bolognese with out the spaghetti - have swede and carrot mash instead.

Burgers/chicken and other meats in a salad

Kebabs with out the pitta

Roast without the potatoes.

Grilled breakfast with no bread.

I found it easier to make normal meals and replaced the carbs with salad or veg.

Huge omelette is good idea - could make for a few breakfasts.

Cheese burger with lettuce sounds delish.

It's trying to get into the mindset. I currently have so many carbs!

I have in the past paid for the weekly meal plans from The College Nutritionist which are low carb, but they are focused on food prepping/making meals for two-three days at a time which is a bit same-y. It was handy though, took away the thinking.

I just didn't think of having a roast without potatoes - that will be so good
