Anyone drink oat milk?

Are there any low carbers who drink oat milk and still lose?

When I first started low carbing (many many moons ago!) I wasn't too fussed about coffee, I'd have a couple black.

Now however I love my lattes and Oatly Barista (6g per 100ml) is the closed non-dairy substitute I've found. Unsweetened almond milk is better carb wise but I really prefer Oatly! I think I can get away with 50ml topped with hot water.

I've started back low carbing today as my recent weight gain is ridiculous and I lost loads on this woe before and it makes me feel good, but I've fallen off a few times since as I've felt really deprived. If I could keep my morning latte that would be amazing!

Bump for the Oatly drinkers at the back.

Oh, sorry, I was coming on to say that I love Oatly! But I don't low carb. My weight stays under control because the dog and child steal all my nice good and leave the salad. You can borrow them if you like?

*food...

Haha I think I might have to resort to borrowing food stealers!

I’ve just started low-carbing this week, and have been having bulletproof coffee in the morning instead of my usual oatly flat white style coffee. But it’s making me miserable, I have realised how much I look forward to that coffee with oatly.

So I’ve decided to go back to it, with a little less milk and a bit of MCT oil in, and I’ll see how I go. I know it’s not ideal, but if it helps me stick to the WOE overall it’ll be better for me.

I've been using Oatly for a while and actually prefer the skinny one although it makes tea and coffee look a funny colour. Almond milk is very bad environmentally, oat milk is the most sustainable milk alternative..

That's just it. I need to be able to stick to this long term so if I can lose whilst still having this it would be great. I also read about almond milk being bad environmentally.

I guess it's a keep drinking it and include it in the carb count and if the weight isn't coming off revisit it.

Thanks both.

Are you dairy free? I low carb but have either full fat milk or cream in my morning coffee. Both lower carbs than oatly
