Low-carb Christmas

Do you have any special meal/snack ideas in place for over Christmas? Normally I spend most of Christmas snacking on cheese and biscuits, so I'll need to plan a bit more this year. Has anyone found any low-carb freezer food for those days where you just can't be bothered to cook?

Not sure if your doing it for medical reasons, or just to lose a bit of weight.

But it's Christmas! Eat what you like, and get back to it in the new year.

Sorry if this isn't much help! Xmas Smile

I'm also looking for low carb ideas for Christmas. Having list just short of 7 stone this year I'm really keen to keep going over the holiday season. I plan to have turkey, treat myself to a bacon wrapped chipolata or two and fill up on green veg - luckily I really adore sprouts!

But some special 'treats' that I don't usually have would be very nice. I found this recipe for prosciutto ham wrapped asparagus spears which I am going to make:

That's a really fantastic achievement @ChequerBoard. I will have a couple of relaxed days over Christmas, but I do enjoy eating low carb on the whole as I don't feel as hungry. I'll most likely try a recipe I've seen for scotch eggs which is boiled eggs encased in pork mince and also www.ruled.me/flourless-keto-brownies/ . I've got some chocologic chocolate on order from morrisons, so hoping that will mix things up a little. I'll most likely add celery, cucumber and lettuce as alternative bread type foods to have with cheese and meats
