Hows it going for yous? Not seen a shift on the scales this week so far but seem a decrease in body fat! I also checked my blood sugars and they were low. I've been sticking too it as best as I possibly can and upped my exercise. I feel fitter and more energetic. I hope I never go back to being overweight or binge eating. I had no control. I'm almost at my 1 stone target then I'll push for another 7lbs x

Anyone currently doing Dukan? I had some success with it years ago so going to give it another go. I've piled on the weight after a hectic and stressful couple of years. I've got to the point now where I need to do something drastic as it's massively affecting my confidence.

Weighed in this morning at 15st 12lbs. Absolutely mortified by that but telling myself it's the last time I will see those numbers on the scales!

Had boiled eggs and a babybel for breakfast and currently sitting down planning my food for the week and doing an online shop.

Aiming for 5 days Attack phase this week. Anyone else on Dukan and want to share food ideas and support?

Boo81 · 04/11/2019 08:10

Well I managed to get through Day 1!

Breakfast yesterday was 2 boiled eggs and a babybel. Didn't feel hungry till lunch. Had slices of ham rolled up with cottage cheese and laughing cow triangles. Dinner was so delicious. Lean pork steaks in a creamy mustard sauce. I cheated a little bit and use some apple juice for flavour. But it was worth it!!

After dinner I still felt ravenous so had another 2 boiled eggs and a Laughing Cow triangle. Then for pudding I had a small pot of 0% greek yogurt with the oat bran and some sweetener. Finally felt really full after that.

Day 2 today and my online shop is arriving so I'll have lots to choose from.

Hey @Boo81 still dukaning I've just added the gym and intermittent fasting into the mix 3 stone down and I'm stuck no matter what I do the scales just won't budge so have had to change it up a bit I didn't no we were allowed babybels is that a tolerated item?? Be happy to follow eachother help each other on this journey were on!! Smile

Boo81 · 05/11/2019 16:18

Hi Kirsty! Wow you've done so well. When did you start? It's frustrating that you've stalled but I bet the gym will help with that.

Technically Babybels aren't allowed but I'm having the light ones which are lower fat and one a day is getting me through!

Yesterday was ok. I had:

Breakfast - Yogurt, Baesola slices and a babybel
Lunch - Roasted skinless chicken thighs with cajun seasoning and chilli sauce
Dinner - Roasted salmon with the same seasoning and two boiled eggs

Sneaked a couple of meatballs from the kids dinner. But then I was full so didn't have my yogurt and oatbran dessert.

Hi @Leanandlaughing, @Boo81 and all others on this thread. I just wondered how it's going and if you're still doing the dukan diet? I'm desperate to lose weight - hit 14 stone recently (menopausal and underactive thyroid not helping!) and am feeling unhealthy. Have started exercising again slowly but food is a huge issue for me. I tried the dukan before but don't generally eat meat so replaced with quorn (veggie) and wasn't really sure if that was allowed. Then felt generally rubbish so gave up. I do think if I did it properly, though, it would be good so am going to start tomorrow. Would love to hear from any of you as to how it's going, if you're still on the diet and how much you've lost x
