What do you use? Struggling to think of how to have meat in salads at lunch that isn't, well, bad for me!

Chicken? Whole roast?

Some ham off the bone and not the processed stuff.

Tinned mackerel and sardines.

Roast a pork fillet (tenderloin) and thinly slice it.

Cold roast chicken, cold roast pork, even cold lamb with some nice recurrent jelly makes a tasty sandwich!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 15/04/2019 18:58

I buy a chicken and roast it, salmon fillets, pork fillet, or feta cheese

TuppenceFaithfully · 15/04/2019 19:14

Didn't even think of ham off the bone!

If your roast a chicken does it last you the week before it's on the turn?

You could always chop it up and freeze the crooked chicken, then you don't have to worry

I was thinking this last week and how I need to buy more joints/birds to roast for lunches rather than packets of ham. I think good options are:-

Salmon fillet
Prawns
Mackerel
Beef
Pork
Chicken
Tuna
Eggs
Beans and pulses
