I know that LC is the only way I lose weight. I'm fine when I'm just feeding myself, but come unstuck when DC arrive home from uni. Both young adults. DC is always trying to gain and DD is vegetarian, as am I.

So, does anyone have any good examples of low carb meals, but with carbs thrown in for the DC? DS more than happy to eat vegetarian meals, as long as there is protein.

I work such long hours that my brain doesn't have the capacity for this!

I find this is a big downside of low carb. Both DH and I are low carbing but we have adult DD living with us and teen DS (17).
DD doesnt eat meat. DS loves meat and hate veggies. it's a pain in the arse to be honest. DD will cook her own meals which is fine but meand we don't eat as a family. DS is feeling isolated and left out. Tonight DH and I had roasted chicken breast with vegetables to bulk it out. DS had pasta. he asked what tomorrow's dinner was and I said creamed spinach with cauliflower rice. Might as well feed him rat poison. so he will have toad in the hole and I will be cooking two meals again! I know low carbing works but it isn;t for everyone and is a pain when you have to feed meat haters and veggie haters at the same time!!
