Or is there already one here??

I’m looking to start in the next week or so and wondered if there was anyone MN who was on it and to share tips, support and weight loss.

It looks fab and my friend has lost a fair bit quite quickly so I’m joining the band wagon

I’m on Cambridge too! 10 weeks in and counting! Flowers good luck, I found week one tough but it gets so much easier

Myusername2015 · 23/03/2019 14:48

Me!

Fagbreakagain1 · 23/03/2019 14:52

Oh helllloooo!! I’m so glad you two turned up! Grin

Well done soVery ! I struggled last night but kept on plan. I had the spag Bol yesterday and it’s was rank! But I’ve had the chicken and mushroom soup today and it was really nice!

Hello myuser!

Motherofcreek · 23/03/2019 14:53

I’m not a huge spag Bol fan, gutted as it’s like my dying meal but I think it has a funny taste Sad I love love love the chocolate hazelnut pudding, although at first I thought it was going to taste exactly like Nutella, I could have it three times a day! I just had the peanut bar for dinner....yum!

How are you guys finding sticking to the plan? What are your goals? I told myself I would do the 12 weeks on step 1A and I’m almost at the end. Although I think I’ll have to go up to step 2 and back down again as I won’t be at my goal weight in two weeks.

I'm in, although I'm buying Exante rather than Cambridge, it's effectively the same stuff.

Started 2 weeks ago, fell off the wagon & need to re-start again. Goal is to loose 2 stone.

Motherofcreek · 23/03/2019 19:43

soVery Yes the spag Bol has a weird sweet taste. Grim

Vanilla milk shake with a spoonful of coffee with extra hot water is delicious!

Am on 1A but struggling now so come to bed. You’ve done amazing on 1A for 12 weeks! The soup was lovely but I was hungry soon after it so had a veg water.

I’ve had vanilla latte, chic & mushroom soup and caramel bites today. I’m scared of trying the Thai green rice incase it’s minging 🙈

Welcome 1254, I’ve not heard of that one - I’ll go and google it!

The puddings on exante look amazing! Do you just go solo with it or do you have to check in with a consultant/group to weigh in each week? I personally need that accountability otherwise I fall off the wagon and keep telling myself I’ll restart on Monday/next month/ next year Blush

I had many early nights at the start of this diet, lots of long baths to pass the time, painting my nails so I physically couldn’t eat. Currently I find 3-4pm a hard time, my mind wanders and I think about all the food i’d love to snack on, chocolate, biscuites, crisps, cake, cheese, bread and butter......you can see now why I’m so overweight Sad j was actually in the obese category when I started!

12548ehe9fnfobms · 24/03/2019 09:53

You're right, idle hands have the same consequence for me, I find evenings the hardest, I might start taking baths, that's a good idea.

I like the soups & bars over shakes. I need something to chew. I think the shakes are more filling though

Motherofcreek · 25/03/2019 14:01

How did you all get on over the weekend?

I caved and had three roasties with a bit of gravy. Sad

But back on track now and already drank 2L of water.

soVery same here! Ive been getting in bed at 7 and spending the rest of the night pissed off Grin

1245 I think the chicken soup is nice. I’ve got a spicy one I’m going to try tomorow. Got some choc bites for tea.

The macroni cheese is edible but had the curry one and that’s not great either Grin

I think the food gets better with time, I didn’t like the curry all that much at first but eventually your tastebuds get used to it. I never did warm to the spag bol though.

I’m finding it hard to drink so much water, I’m constantly going to the loo Confused.

This weekend was ok, I try and be out as much as I can, weigh in for me tomorrow....eeeeek, I’m edging ever closer to my three stone mark!

I just want this to be over now. Why can’t I be skinny and be able to eat whatever I want and never exercise and never put on weight?!?!

Justfortonight1 · 26/03/2019 14:02

soVery how did you get on?

I’ve just had the Asian soup and really enjoyed it.

I can do the water as I drank a lot of it any way but yes going to the toilet is a pain!

SoVeryTired998 · 26/03/2019 16:18

Weigh in is tonight at 7pm, I'll keep you posted!! I actually love weigh days because its the only day of the week my husband is home by 6.30pm, then I get to have some me time going for my weigh in, I always ending up chatting for ages with my consultant and by the time I get home, the children are all tucked up in bed fast asleep.

I like the Asian soup too, I like the veg one also because of the crunch croutons.

Everyone raves about the salt caramel bites on the support group on facebook but I couldn't deal with the amount of chewing, so disappointed as I love salt caramel.

What have everyones losses been like so far?

SoVeryTired998 · 28/03/2019 07:16

This week I lost 2lbs, feels like it’s a woosh week, I’m 3lbs away from 3 stone so hoping I’ll loose at least that this week. It’s also my last week on step 1a, I have to move up to step 2. I’m looking forward to trying the new meals out!
