Has anyone tried lo dough bread

Saw an advert pop up on instagram

2g carb per 28g serving sounds good ... but the downside is that it’s quite expensive £5 for 2 pieces (each piece is 28g)
Plus other low carb bread alternatives I’ve had in the past haven’t been all that satisfying

Yes, I tried it. It's quite tasteless and spongy. It needs lots of filling or topping to make it enjoyable to eat. I might order it again for pizza but as you say it is expensive.

I wasn't a fan personally. Felt like a sponge, even when put in the oven.

Much prefer the low carb bread and Josephs low carb wraps, tortillas and pittas from AvidLite or Lowcarbmegastore

Yeah I have tried it. It's okay, but it smells like plastic! Very expensive for what they are. I don't get them anymore now. I just use Weight Watchers wraps.

I’d rather make those MiMs - egg, ground flax seeds, baking soda etc IIRC - they make a passable bread substitute and cheap as chips.

I've just bought a loaf of Livlife and it's really nice. 3.8g carb per slice, so not awful, and satisfies my need for crunchy toast with patè occasionally. I freeze it and defrost in the toaster.

Slices are small though.

Oh and it's about £1.50 for a small loaf.

I found lo-dough absolutely vile. It was like eating the polystyrene tray an oven pizza comes on.
