Not sure if this is the right place to post ..... does the low carb thread title include the kerogenic diet ?
Apologies if not , but that’s what I’m looking to start .
There lots of information on line I know but I’m struggling to actually find something ( UK focused ) that I can use to start .
The Keto diet can be quiet expensive and I’m not only on a budget but my current work / family commitments leave me little tome to prepare meals .
Can anyone please help point me in the right direction of a meal plan which will allow me to eat food with little preparation and low cost?
Love the idea of Ketogenic diet but not sure I’ve the time to commit to it really ?
Also will I notice any initial weight loss if it takes two weeks to actually achieve Ketosis ?

This is a bit late but if you're still looking go over to the low carb boot camp forum, there's a new challenge staring next Monday and lots of info there on meals and the ten boot camp rules to follow.

It should only take 3-5 days to achieve ketosis, you'll feel poorly for a few days while your body adjusts. You'll also be surprised to see how little you're eating so although it's more expensive food you actually only have a bit - weighing and measuring is important.

Keep it simple, meat such as chicken thighs (cheap), belly pork (cheap in Aldi) with sides of cabbage, cauliflower, asparagus when in season, or bacon, eggs and spinach all cooked with butter :)

Dietdoctor is a good resource, and if you search keto UK on Facebook there are some good pages to follow!
