I'm currently on a low carb high protein diet plus exercise plan. All going well, weight is coming down Smile However...

I am meant to have a fist size portion of veg with each meal (i.e. 3 times a day). This is less veg than I'd normally eat, and I think that coupled with more protein is making me a bit bunged up and farty. I'm trying to drink more, but so far it's not helping too much.

DD1 has just come into our home office and nearly passed out with the fumes Shock TF I don't work in a proper office with people in it!!

What can I do to stop being a one woman WMD?

Milk kefir, fennel tea, eat more slowly?

What source of protein are you eating more of? Eggs and beans? Eggs bung me up if I have them too much.

I only fart when doing higher carb.

Protein and veg make me less farty

Why are you restricting veg? It's usually all you can eat on LCHF.

I had that on a low carb diet - had to stop all kind of beans. Good luck

Sweeteners do this to me. Just saying, in case you use them, keep an eye on the quantity
