Hi I have been doing the LCHF diet for a week, today is day 8. I showed all the signs of entering ketosis with the awful fatigue and headaches, very frequent urination etc. I have strictly kept to lower than 20g of carbs with sufficient fat intake and no alcohol. However, I have not lost a single pound of weight and if anything, my tummy is extremely bloated. I have been having coffee with cream and I read on a forum that caffeine causes the liver to release adrenaline, which then results in a temporary increase of blood sugar. Could this be the reason why I have lost any weight do you think? I know Dr Atkins recommended cutting it out but other resources say that it can be consumed so I am a bit confused now! Any help gratefully received. Thanks
