I've just started low carbing for the first time. I'm at the top end of a healthy weight for my height (11 stone) and would like to loose around a stone and a half. I like the idea of low carb, I like the science behind it, but I have a remarkable capacity for eating. I never feel full, so I'm not sure if eating to fullness will work with me? Today I had assorted low carb salad veg with olive oil and salt, spinach and cherry tomatoes cooked in butter with a fried egg, quite a lot of roast turkey. Then 3 slices of salami. For dinner and large salad, all low carb veg, with olive oil and vinegar dressing and halloumi. Much halloumi. Some garlic sausage. All in all, I think it came to about 1900 calories. Is this too much? I could still eat quite a bit more, I won't, but could. I really do just never feel full. I have binge eating issues and think I have fucked my ability to feel full on anything less than 3000 or so calories in one go...
