Breakfast: High protein shake

Lunch: Ham salad (or any other meat or fish/salad combo)

Dinner: Meat/fish and veg

Supper: High protein shake.

I need to lose weight.

Will adding in nuts and some berries slow weight loss?

That could be too much protein, which can convert to glucose (and undermine your low carb efforts!). I'd cut down to one shake (unless you have two half-portions). Are you making your shake with milk, almond milk or water? As that can make a big difference!

I'd also recommend more fat to keep you satiated. Mayo, eggs, hard cheeses etc if you can tolerate dairy.

Looks like you're probably having too much protein and not enough fat. Also, if you're needing supper that tells me either a) you're hungry and therefore not getting enough fat or b) you're having food when not hungry. Remember to only eat when actually hungry, not just because it's a specific mealtime Smile
