Can I tweak a low carb diet?

I am a regular low carber and so I know it works for me. My problem is that when I get bored and fall off the wagon the weight returns. I am trying to find a sustainable low carb plan - will this work? If I avoid all refined carbs and eat a high protein diet with nuts and seeds (and chickpeas and lentils) and the odd bit of fruit, will I lose weight. I really want to start my day with full fat Greek yoghurt and nuts and then low carb through the day. I am aiming to lose 8kgs in 8 weeks, so not a major amount. Opinions please

That's an average of 2 1/4lb per week - whether you can do it depends on how much you have to lose and then how strictly you apply low carb overall (plus a bit of exercise will help). I would imagine if you had the odd chickpea and lentil meal then you'd still be okay, but have them as a treat and to keep you on track.
