Hi
Does anyone else on here have hashimotos & had success with a paleo WoE? Has anyone tried AIP? I see it mentioned on American websites but wondered what the MN experience might be.

I was diagnosed, by accident, with hashimotos in 2009/10 when I had a shoulder problem, later found out to be a frozen shoulder. Whilst they did various tests they discovered hashimotos & I started thyroxin. Revolutionalised my life.
However I'm currently not feeling great. Taking 150mcg of thyroxin, TSH level >5 (my ideal is between 1.0 & 2.0) and my thyroid antibodies have gone mental. Way out of the normal range the dr expects (>1000)

Hi, I don't know much about it but I've heard lots of people rave about the paleo diet. Can I recommend the Facebook group "hypothyroid mom" for lots of useful info and this Facebook group

Sarah Wilson's "I Quit Sugar" website and books are really good and very helpful as she also suffers from Hashimotos.
