How bad would honey in my tea be?

Im ill, dying even. If I was a man id have man flu. What normally makes me feel better is a nice cuppa tea with some honey but im low carbing. How bad would it be. According to MFP i still have 10g of carbs left that i can have

It's the same as sugar, but if it fits your macros then go for it.

I decided not to. Im new to the whole low carb thing so dont want to mess it up just cos i dont feel very well. Ive lost 5lb this week so really chuffed

You're suffering from carb flu! (Although hopefully you'll be over it by now!). Key things to do are:

  • drink plenty of water
  • eat plenty of fat
  • make sure you're keeping your electrolyte levels up - you need sodium, magnesium and potassium. This means cooking with salt/adding salt to your food and eating things like salmon, avocado, spinach and full fat natural yoghurt
