Low carb newcomer - is this too much?

I want to lose a stone and have never really low carbed before, a brief dabble with South Beach in the past.

I have had really good results with WW but have a terrible sugar addiction I want to try and break. Plus, I don't like the new plan and cba to count at the moment.

So I thought I'd give low carb a try. I feel like this is far too much food though and the high fat element really doesn't sit comfortably with me. Old habits die hard!

Today I have had:

B: celery spread thickly with crunchy peanut butter
L: chicken and mayo with green salad
S: 2 crab sticks and a chicken drum stick
D: beef stroganoff with zero noodles.

Am I on the right lines or is this too much?

It's not too much food. But you should probably have some more veg.

If you want to see the best results it would be good to stay away from the peanut butter for a little while.

Come on over to the low carb boot camp that BIWI is running - it's just started on mon/tues and there is lots of support, lots of information and a very good recipe thread for inspiration.

B: celery spread thickly with crunchy peanut butter - I would go for a load of bacon and eggs; lots of fat. Fry the bacon. Don't have peanut butter - it's a processed food with lots of additives adn not natural.

L: chicken and mayo with green salad - have the chicken and salady but beware of shop made mayo as they put all sorts in there and lots of sugar and additives.

S: 2 crab sticks and a chicken drum stick - crab sticks are full of junk - don't ever eat them.
D: beef stroganoff with zero noodles - don't have a zero anything - that's a fake food. Just stick with real food.
