Is Low carb harder second time around?

I lost 3.5 stone last year on the Harcombe diet. In the last few months I have had an all inclusive holiday, fallen of the wagon big style and gained a stone.

I have jumped back on but the weight is much slower. I know I am in ketosis as I POAS every couple of days and it comes up purple.

Has this happened to anyone else and do you have any tips for getting through?

First time around you had more weight to lose. It tends to come off faster.

Are you being as vigilant this time around as you were the first time? Sometimes because we think we know what we're doing, we're a bit more relaxed about things, so the weight loss can be slower.

BTW - if the ketostix are showing purple it's actually a sign that you're not drinking enough water. That's really important when you're low carbing.
