lowering carbs and feeding the kids?

advice when lowering carbs please...

im planning on lowering my carbs, replacing rice, pasta etc. however, do I continue to feed the kids as usual and just do the alternate for me or will it be ok for then to join in?

im asking as I just think - busy school day, energy lacking, grab carbs lol?

thanks

You'd be best off asking on the diet forums, I think there is a low carb section. Who is it that does the low carb bootcamp threads? She would know.

Hi all,

We'll shortly be moving this thread to our Low-Carb diets topic.

See you there!

I'm starting to low carb next week & I'm planning to feed them & dp the same protein as me, but with added potato/pasta/rice or chips & extra veg.

If the kids join in then you may find them losing weight as well which isn't ideal (without medical advice)

Oops just noticed the other thread, sorry :)

Kids will be fine on lower carb, it's basically just lowering sugar, which actually isn't needed at all
