I should get commission from Dr Briffa for the number of times I recommend that book!

Rollermum · 11/01/2014 19:11

Ooh, I thought I'd read all the diet / last duet type books, by not heard if this.

What's so good / different about it?

Rollermum · 11/01/2014 19:11

Have had a look - sounds like Atkins / paleo or is that incorrect? One reviewer said they ate toast so just wondering.

ElbowPrincess · 12/01/2014 06:56

Low carb, yes. Not sure why someone was eating toast!

Thanks - I thought that was weird! I'll give it a look.

FourArms · 12/01/2014 09:16

Gutted - thought I'd had a kindle bargain but I'd much prefer a real book :(

BIWI · 12/01/2014 10:01

Rollermum - it's not so much a diet book, but an explanation of the background behind why we've been advised to avoid fat, and why that's so wrong and bad for us, along with an explanation of the science behind low carbing and why calorie counting (and conventional dieting) doesn't work/is bad for us.

It's a really good book, and very accessible.
