Ive been following boot camp rules for two weeks and am over the moon to have lost four pounds! I can't believe I lost two is week because I was away and had a couple of cheats. Low carbing seems to really suit me. Don't feel deprived at all. In fact because I can have things I love but have tried to limit in the past ( butter especially) it feels like a bit of a treat.

It's brilliant, isn't it? Doesn't feel like a diet at all.

BIWI it doesn't feel like a diet to me. I'm slightly stunned actually as I have enjoyed the food, not felt hungry or deprived and I think I've had more energy. I have been out to a lovely restaurant today with a friend and had a pudding but I'm looking forward to getting back to low carbing tomorrow.

Just be careful with those lapses though, Onlyconnect. The idea of two strict weeks is to break the hold that sugar has over us - if you keep lapsing, you're making it harder for yourself. You're also interfering in the switch from burning carbs to burning fat - and that's the other important aim of Bootcamp - to switch you such that you're burning your fat stores rather than just the carbs that you're eating.

But that said, I'm very glad that it's working for you! Flowers
