Snack ideas for afternoon slump ?

To go with a coffee ? Not savoury, if possible. The only thing I can think of is a few squares of dark chocolate. I gave up chocolate a few years ago and don't really like it now and I am afraid of starting up my addiction to it all over again. What do the rest of you low carbers have with coffee/tea?

Do you still get an afternoon slump? How long have you been eating LC? Ive found my levels are very stable during the day now, and dont really need to snack between meals. Maybe, if you are quite new, the snacky feeling will go away soon?

I dont eat anything sweet - it would have sweeteners in it, which we avoid on Bootcamp. I might have a handfull of salted almonds though or 1 square of dark choc.

I don't eat anything sweet either. For snacks I have a small piece of cheese or chorizo. I you haven't got much to lose then the of square of very dark chocolate won't hurt.

Odd not of

It's more of a pick me up I'm looking for. I wouldn't really be very tired, just looking for something low carb to keep me going until dinner. I do have a lot of weight to lose, so perhaps dark choc isn't a good option. I'm afraid of eating too much cheese as I think it stops me losing too.

Nuts? Pistachios are good - avoid cashews, they're too carby

Nuts sound good then. I like pistachios, in guess I shouldn't have too many e.g. small handful ?

The afternoon is the only time I still feel like snacking a little (I'm 3 weeks in). Usually a snack cheese (like Baby bel or those little selection packs), a few brazil nuts/almonds, some olives maybe. I'm avoiding the choc too - way too easy to start that addiction up again!
