Low carb and pudding - do you bother?

I saw a thread on Nigel Slater and a recipe with raspberries, eggs, dark choc or something.

Made me think, is there something with berries, cream, eggs etc or other low carb stuff that is edible.

Do you bother with pudding at all?

I don't but I never did anyway.
One of the joys of low carb is the cheese plate!

I suppose if I was having people over for dinner I would do some kind of expresso/dark choc/cream and raspberries combo in small wine glasses.

Yes pretty much that Trucks, sounds yummy.

I should have said not everyday but every once in a while.

I dont bother, but I do have a square or 2 of dark choc now & again.

Greek yogurt with some nuts and berries.

MarshaBrady · 11/08/2013 15:28

Thanks. I don't buy yoghurt these days. But will check out nuts and berries.

I saw a recipe for raspberry soufflé the other day. I thought without the sugar it could almost work.

I just mix marscapone, some double cream, and some G&B cocoa powder.

MarshaBrady · 12/08/2013 15:32

Good one, I hadn't thought of mascarpone at all.

It is so yummy. That with a mug of mint tea in the evening gets me through low carbing.

I discovered tonight that mini-milks only contain 5g of carbs, result!

Thesouthernwindisblowing · 24/08/2013 21:16

Currently eating the mascarpone recipe as pudding. It is really nice. Anyone if its okay in first few days?

BIWI · 24/08/2013 21:18

If you look on the Bootcamp recipe thread, there is a recipe for chocolate pots de creme - really easy and relatively low carb.

I've experimented with it and have made it into ice-cream.

Thesouthernwindisblowing · 24/08/2013 21:20

Thanks. Do you know if the marscapone one is okay for first week?
