Cornish Pasty - an alternative??!!

Am off to Cornwall and know that pasties are going to feature daily as our lunch! Other than sitting there picking the pastry off and looking like a complete loser, can anyone think of anything that I can order instead (from the bakery...not ideal!)?? :)

Not from the bakery. Plan ahead. Buy lots of ham and proscuttio and wrap up cheese and veg inside them every morning. Or eat pasties and go for long walks, DH and I ate a pasty every day in Cornwall but lost half a stone because we did so many cliff walks. In the end, all diets boil down to calories in and calories out.
