Is butternut squash a starchy veg?

Confused..........can someone tell me whether butter nut squash is a starchy veg/carb?

It's a lot like sweet potato but that's a root veg. I'm thinking its not starchy because it's like a marrow/courgette/pumpkin.
Hoping its allowed as v filling and I love it.

Nah its about as starchy as a carrot, its rather watery too but a nice potato replacement if oven roasted. Enjoy your squash guilt free.

It is one of those debatable veg for low carb diets and depends on how much of it you are eating.

Bootcampers on here tend to avoid it but IPD allows it. Maybe try it but if your weight loss is too slow or stalls try cutting down or out?
