OK so I know we?re meant to be weaning ourselves away from sweet things but I know it helps me stick to the straight and narrow if I can have something sweet during the day. Anyway, I?ve found some sugar free sweets in M&S that believe it or not actually contain fat!!! They use sugar alcohols (isomalt & sucralose) so do have a laxative effect if you eat too many but they are very tasty and don?t seem to have too many dodgy ingredients. So far I?ve tried 3 flavours: rhubarb & custard which is made unsalted butter and has 4.5g fat/100g, butterscotch which is made with butter & cream and comes in at 8.5g fat/100g and also strawberries & cream but I don?t have that one with me so not sure of the stats but it?s similar. I do remember seeing another one when I was in there (but didn?t buy at the time) of another flavour that was made with coconut oil. The butterscotch one seems to have the least ingredients: isomalt, sucralose, cream, butter, vanilla flavouring, salt, emulsifier, soya lecithin, colour (plain caramel). They are rather tasty Grin.

I thought others might find these helpful for when they fancy something sweet but without derailing too much.

why not just go for a fat bomb - 150g butter, 130g almond butter, 3/4cup coconut oil, 20-40g cocoa powder (to taste) and granulated sweetner (to taste)

Melt all the fats and mix in the cocoa powder and sweetner according to personal preference. Put in ice cube trays and into freezer/fridge.

This quantity makes around 30 and is something like 90% fat, 9% protein and 1% carb and 80ish calories per portion.

Sweet, tasty and very filling if you had 2 or 3.
