well done on making it to the final week! pop your weight in on the spreadsheet and give yourself a pat on the back!

although the formal bootcamp ends this week, we always have an ongoing chat thread for support, advice and general chitchat, so we won't be going away. you will see on the spreadsheet that you can carry on weighing in weekly if you want to, but i won't be doing the biggest loser stuff until the next bootcamp

Abouttime Fat flush water

Some people may be more comfortable with just the cucumber and mint, although I am now managing my third day with the initial jug of mint, cucumber, orange and slice of grapefruit.

Thanks for all the encouragement! I am just not thinking about food between my meals and this is unheard of for me!
I tell you, if I have lost a couple of pounds on Monday I'm going to shouting this WOE from the rooftops and boring everyone I know
So, I've just done Zumba and didnt feel a lack of energy like I expected to from brig carb free or 3 days. This is good.
Off now to have chicken and avocado salad with homemade coleslaw (still embracing the Hellmans).

welcome musttidyup I think everyone else has answered your questions brilliantly, but if there is anything else just ask!

StuntNun good cake and pizza avoidance - I am impressed!

L - salad with turkey, bacon and emmenthal mayo mix
D - duck legs with broccoli
S - handful of cheese crisps, cheese spread with salted butter, sadly 5 bacon fries crisp things before I realised what I was doing and had a handful of nuts instead.

I have had a diet coke, but am drinking lots of water now to try and make up for it. It was a diet coke or crisps/chocolate/cake when in battle with my inner demon at lunchtime so I reckon the diet coke was the lesser of two evils.

Another lb down this morning, 1 more and I'll be at the next half stone mark, my next little target!!

Well done musttidyup - it is great isn't it and nothing wrong with the hellmans! It is our fave mayo here.

Hello all! I weighed and I STS but I've lost 7 inches off my stomach since I started so that's something.

I'm considering no booze for most of July, I'd REALLY like to get another half stone off this month.

Is there a way of finding a different treat for yourself? I used (before bootcamp) to fall into a packet of chocolate biscuits of an evening... now my evening treat is greek yoghurt. I know its not even on the same scale! but it still means I can have that feeling of "I've saved this for my treat". Can you find something else non-alcoholic to play that role?

Or... well at the moment I'm on medication where I'm not allowed alcohol, I'm not exactly sure what would happen if I did, in my imagination its something horribly toxic. Which means whenever I'm in a situation where I would normally have a drink I've been pinching myself and mentally yelling at myself MUST REMEMBER Not To Drink! I guess this way doesn't really work unless the medical advice is real though.

Uh-oh, I sort of fell into a bottle of wine tonight, despite my best intentions.

There was a massive setback at work today with really major consequences and about 18 months work irretrievably down the pan. Pretty gutted.

Kotinka, having an early night and reading a book of a night sounds like a plan - I have soooo many books to read. Would keep me away from the kitchen. Off to bed now. Am reading Is it Just Me or is Everthing Shit which on a review on it's back cover says it is so relentlessly bitter it is quite uplifting.

I think I need a little uplifting tonight.

Cider - I have clearly blanked out any promises to give up alcohol! To be honest not having that much as with a baby DD and 6 year old DD we seem permanently exhausted and somehow I am not that tempted. Far harder is avoiding rule bending like too much peanut butter, too many berries, excess cream.

Mrs HP, I just had diet coke too, a cherry one! Don't know what came over me. Popped to corner shop for cat food and before I knew it I was swigging from the can.

Welcome to any new joiners, I have only been on the thread 4 weeks but I find posting helps keep me on the straight and narrow, makes me feel more accountable for how I am eating.

Now gearing up to make fat flush water. Want to see for self if it can really be as delicious as everyone says.

Haven't posted weight this week, nut before I do can I ask a really stupid question, ' weighing scales on carpet or bathroom tiles? There is a 2lb difference between the two places

Beryl - sorry that work situation sounds crap. Totally understandable that you needed wine!

Negroni · 02/07/2013 23:26

Berry - I would weigh on an even hard surface where possible but would probably be persuaded to weigh wherever gave lower weight

So sorry beryl that sounds hideous, Wine def allowed!

kotinka I think lily was replying to samanthajones question further up!

berry I agree with negroni bathroom floor better than carpet, hard surface always more accurate for weigh-in. depilation of all body hair, cutting nails and removing contact lenses and rings is entirely up to you
