Yes it's low carb enough although I would have more proteinous meats than sausage and bacon.

Carbs don't make you fat. Excess calories make you fat. Do whatever works for you don't restrict too much.

First, you've posted in the Low Carb Bootcamp section

Second, yes, carbs do make you fat. A calorie isn't a calorie isn't a calorie.

@Flyingf1edgelings
If you're doing Bootcamp, we don't count carbs (or calories!)

Your meal looks like it should be low carb, but without knowing the carb count of the sausages, it's difficult to say. Did you check the back of the pack?

However, sausages and bacon are both quite processed, so we do try and avoid those - and also we try to eat more veg!

It’ll make sense one day @AyyMacarena

Re OP, are those sausages ā€˜proper’ or the nasty processed Walls type, which are also full of carbs

PandoraP · 18/02/2021 18:30

This can’t be good for you OP even if no carbs and it’s all fried?

hamstersarse · 18/02/2021 18:33

@PandoraP

It’s probably healthier than 85% of dinners being eaten tonight in the uk

Fat is not a foe

PandoraP · 18/02/2021 18:35

@hamstersarse, you will never convince me that fried processed meat is healthy.

Would categorical evidence from the BMJ convince you that fat is not bad?

Thought not šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

I agree the sausage may not be ā€˜the best’ but it’s better than a plate of pasta

PandoraP · 18/02/2021 18:51

@hamstersarse, I personally would rather eat a plate of whole meal pasta with veg than OPs plate. I am specifically referring to people cutting out carbs and replacing with friend highly processed salty food thinking it’s healthy.
I eat far too much carbs by the way, trying to cut down, but there are healthy carbs your body needs more than bacon.

I agree with you about the highly processed food. But not about the salt or frying!

Nothing wrong, at all, with fat or salt if you're low carbing.

Flyingf1edgelings · 21/02/2021 13:38

The sausages are 1.1 carbs for 2 they are 90% meat. I do all my food in my air fryer. I’ve lost 5lbs this week.

It’s not the most healthy dinner is why I asked too😬
