I am going to have to start it as I had a stone to lose but no, have put on ANOTHER half a stone! I think it's because we have been buying such 'sensible' family food... like potatoes and pasta and rice.

I'm going to start generally low carbing combined with 16:8 fasting here if anyone wants to join?

Right well I’m just posting here for accountability until there is! 21 pounds to lose, today had one bulletproof coffee, one small tin mackerel and one hard boiled egg, in a weird low-carb, 5:2 combo.

Whenever it’s the right time for the next LCBC I’d love to join.
I have had the odd f it day with carbs and have felt horrendous so I’m still doing LCHF but in a very low energy I’ll thought out way. I’m also moving so much less than usual so can’t imagine there’s any calorie deficit going on.
Can’t bring myself to weigh myself but I’m staying sane for my DD and DH which is at the moment the main thing.

I’m still around! Going to do USA style combo of Keto/paleo as I find pure HFLC hard to stay on board with (get horrific carb withdrawal flu, have been guzzling sugar-free electrolytes which have really helped!) lost three pounds so far and much less bloated.

I think I’d like to start one too. I did jan for the first time and lost it right at the end when rumblings of lockdown started. But I’ve only regained 3lb of the 17lb I lost so it could have been worse but I’m keen to get back on track. I’ve got soooo much more to lose and I want to come out of lockdown feeling a bit better about myself- not a million times worse!

Hello all!

Yes, I've been putting off starting the next Bootcamp for a whole load of reasons - least of all my own motivation!

My plan is to do something a little bit different - a short, sharp shock - Leaving Lockdown Low Carb Bootcamp. But I haven't quite worked it out yet. But will probably be aiming to start something in the next couple of weeks.

I am desperate to shift my lockdown load! I have exercised a lot, but also eaten a lot - so I can feel some really well toned muscles but they’re hidden below a layer of flab! Need to go radical as have picked up a lot of very bad carby habits Smile

OH MY GOD I just read The Obesity Code Shock.

It’s low to lowish carb and fasting all the way for me, I heart you @biwi but I can never sustain HFLC on it’s own for a few days.

But I’ve lost half a stone in a week! AND I had an... apple today insanely good.

If I don’t give myself an apple every so often then I inevitably feel sick and dizzy and and fall face first into a cake. BUT I ate the apple after 2 pieces of bacon with scrambled eggs so I should be okay.
