Will I lose just doing a bit lower carb?

If recently increased the amount of exercise I do after we got a dog but it's very slow. I'm terrible at diets (no willpower) although LCHF has worked for me in the past. My question is, will I still lose weight if I just consciously reduce the amount of carbs in my diet without having to spend time reading labels and counting the carbs in everything. By that u mean just cutting out bread, potatoes, pasta - the obvious carbs?

Sorry that first bit makes no sense, I'm very slowly losing weight since getting a dog and doing daily walks is what I mean.

If you come and join Bootcamp you'll find that the whole point of it is not to have to count or weigh anything!

Thanks I'll take a look, it's just a bit daunting.

No need for it to be so - as long as you have the rules in mind (only 10!), honestly it's straightforward. And lots of fantastic support from the other Bootcampers!

Hi I was wondering this too, I read the info on full low carb but the list of foods looked so daunting (particularly the no fruit rule, no seeds or nuts, and most of my favourite vegetables are out too Sad)
I am a pescatarian - only each fish and eggs, so I currently do eat seeds as a protein.

Currently I am trying to cut down on carbs so no bread / pasta / potatoes / wheat / cereal - but is it an all or nothing thing?

What’s boot Camp? Where do I find it? Thanks

I have lost a stone very gradually just by cutting down on bread, pasta, cake and biscuits and by doing ten minutes HIIT a day. Hardly feels like effort but it has worked for me and I feel good.

I didn't consciously plan to lose weight, I followed a FODMAP diet to see what was giving me tummy ache all the time and making me so bloated.

I eat more or less anything I fancy now (including the carbs mentioned above sometimes just not as much) but I eat only eggs, porridge or yoghurt at breakfast, and drink loads of water all day. I don't eat after 7.30 either most of the time.
