Where do we stand on cauliflower and almond extract?

I'm in week 1 of bootcamp and thought it was going pretty well then realised that cauliflower might not be as low carb as I thought. Is it alright or something not to be touched? I couldn't see it on the spreadsheet at all.

And almond extract. Is that in the same camp as vanilla extract?

cauliflower is low carb. lots of low carbers use it in place of rice, or pureed in place of mash, or in a pseudo pizza base.

If you look at the veg counter here on the tab at the bottom, you'll find cauliflower - it's really low carb at 1.9g per 1g.

What brand of almond extract are you buying? Does it not have nutritional information on the pack? I've looked up Sainsbury's - they sell two kinds - but there's no info available.

That said, I'd guess that as it's mostly made from oil, plus the fact that you will likely only be using a small amount at any one time, that the carbs will not be worth worrying about!

I've just bought some pure vanilla which is just gorgeous and very vanillary. I've got a bit addicted to yogurt, cream and vanilla now...

And it's all going incredibly well!
