I can't lose weight, and it's making me miserable

I have a quite severe spinal issue that means I need to be around 8.5/9 stone.

At the moment, I weight 10.5 stone. It's not pretty.

I tried walking a lot, but didn't seem to see a difference. I tried calorie counting, but I only eat 1200 calories a day anyway, and dropping below that meant my body clung on to fat.

I tried low carb for two weeks, but no difference. I'm guessing that my Pepsi Max addiction is to blame for that, but that's a whole other issue. I did try swapping onto sugar-free squash, but I think that's just as bad.

Fasting is unlikely to work for me.

So I thought I'd try running. I can't breathe. Everyone told me to run through it, my lungs would surprise me, but they didn't. I passed out and my doctor told me off.

I can't stay this weight. I'm exhausted, my spine is giving way, my clothes don't fit and I'm miserable.

The doctors can't help because I don't weigh enough for the standard help. I was put forward as a special case, but the LA can't fund my treatment at the moment, and I can't afford to do it myself.

I'm miserable tonight.

I'm sorry to hear this Sad

Diet is more important than exercise when it comes to losing weight, so don't worry if you can't run.

I am someone who has lost many stones without really being able to exercise, so it can be done. I lose weight very slowly, but then I did when I could exercise.
