I can't get a date ...

it's been ages - four months since the last guy I had in fact. I know it's cos i can't get out to bars or clubs as i am a LP. what's wrong with me? guys don't ask me out. my friend says i might come across as intimidating cos i am confident. i'm quite pretty (well not hideous) what shall i do?

From a guy's perspective, women of a certain age without kids are nearly always looking for someone to sire their brood and their body clock is flashing "last chance saloon" which scares guys off a mile.

Then you have the rejected, the ones dumped by their previous partners, who have masses of baggage, usually emotional, often financial and most often bulging out of their clothes. Just who would want that ?

If you are a guy who has something to offer, then you are scared of gold diggers. Loads of them out there.

So when you look at it from a guys side, there are relatively few decent options out there.

The only people I know internet dating works for are those looking for new sexual partners.

Not really sure what your point is tbh - life's shit, there are a lot of tossers around and quite a few of them are on internet dating sites - and the Pope's Catholic!
