it's all down to my hard work. was so prud of him today waiting his turn to open pressies (went to extended families) he didn't moan once, he ran about playing, he helped he waited, he was poilet.

I came away v smug (sicking I know) but also very very proud of my munchkin, he's only 3.10m as well so you'd expect a lot more hype from him but he's been brill, and was yesterday a well for the most part.

so come on single mums lets all appriciate our own hard work with our kids.

my dc have been brilliant, they've helped with housework, fetching & carrying. Both were very tolerant of my Dad's partner yesterday,. (she's a prize PIA). And they both got me nice thoughtful pressies. I think I must be doing something right!

What a great idea this thread is.

i am so proud of my ds(10) he bought me a lovely christmas present out of his hard earned pocket money (even though my ex offered to buy it for him).
Made me open my presents first on xmas morning
! lots of people have commented on how polite and likeable he is.
He is so sweet and patient with his incredibly awkward and difficult younger sister.
In his christmas show he was fantastic - singing dancing and acting - it made me cry with pride.
I remember thinking 7 years ago how am i going to bring a boy on my own! and worrying about all the bad press children of single parents get. but i have done a good job !!!!!
