Are break ups harder as a lone parent?

Pre dd I could go out on the piss and find a new man when broken hearted. I hardly have any money for new clothes or a makeover.

Now I can't do this and have to sit it out at home. I know that this is probably best but god- it's so much harder.

Anyone else feel like this?

I can't say I feel like this but I'll hazard a guess that the kind of blokes you used to meet when out on the piss aren't necessarily the ones you want to introduce to your DC as your new man.

Consider doing stuff in the park with your DC or going to the zoo etc. For one thing it's more time spent with her which can never be bad and for another the guys you'll meet will probably be nice stable guys but not necessarily sticks in the mud and you can go slow over getting into a relationship. Either that or they'll be wierdos but one can usually spot that type miles away. Enjoy being single and all the one-to-one time with your DD, smelly socks (which seem to be part of any relationship with a bloke) aren't all they're cracked up to be. Good luck!

Can you invite a friend to come over (maybe not tonight obv but say next weekend) and stay in on the piss and watch a good movie and wallow?
