I get Income Support and Child Tax Credits. Does anyone know what the maximum amount of savings is that I can have without it affecting my benefits? Also, without it affecting my legal aid?
I'm almost sure I don't have anywhere near enough, but want to be sure.

Not too sure redpyjamas, I don't have enough savings anymore but when I did.... it was in a different bank account ( so I kept schtum). But your best bet is to ring them up and ask them. You don't have to tell them how much you have but just say your enquiring about it.

Don't quote me but I think its about 6k before it gets taken in to account.
