11 years.

mummyfantastico · 28/03/2009 04:25

19 months. Really loving being single, home is happier and more relaxed without XH and his moods and me and the DDs have a great time.
Life is fab (most of the time anyway!)

Pinkchampagne · 29/03/2009 18:18

Will be 2 years in May that I moved into my own place with the boys.

RockinSockBunnies · 29/03/2009 18:22

9 years - since I told DD's father that I was 6 weeks' pregnant.

I honestly can't envisage getting together as a 'proper' couple with anyone. I'm used to my life and doing things my way and have probably become too independent and selfish to share that with anyone!

Toothache · 29/03/2009 18:25

Nearly 3 years since ds was 5 and dd 21 months.... wondering if I'll ever settle with anyone else!

MANATEEequineOHARA · 29/03/2009 21:00

Two years and 3 months. And I agree, best thing ever!!!

Soooooo much better being single!

Claire2009 · 29/03/2009 21:03

Wow, some variation there of times.

I left almost 2yrs ago,fled from a dv r/s with ds 5wks & dd 15mths.

adad123 · 01/04/2009 15:22

Do you want a lone-dad's length of singledom?

3 years in May.

loulou35 · 03/04/2009 01:41

BRIGHTWELL!! you are my kindred spirit!! - snap, alone almost ten years, moved counties, got a degree, done nursing courses, have a boyfriend who lives miles away see at weekends and that is fine by me - thought i was the only one!!!!!!!!

alipiggie · 03/04/2009 04:21

Three years - wow where does time go. Does i get any easier - suppose so. But still struggle to juggle work, boys and a life. Nope wait a minute, no life just the work and boys . We're doing okay most days though.

singledadofthree · 03/04/2009 19:33

ali you old rascal

how are you doing?

other than working and raising the boys of course, tho it does get easier eventually - i'd even go so far as to say fun - we're off racing this weekend - first thrash in the old mini

Remotew · 03/04/2009 19:42

15 years for me too.

singledadofthree · 03/04/2009 21:52

Snorbs · 04/04/2009 18:26

It's been about two and a half years since my ex finally moved out. Crikey, doesn't time fly when you're having fun...

longagegap · 04/04/2009 22:33

Did both my pregnancies on my own , 1st one nearly 13 years ago with no stress ( was young ) 2nd one the so called dad walked out after finding out i was pregnant and done my head in through it all , my 2nd one is near 10 months now ... Think i pick wrong men i think lol

thetoddlermaimer · 06/04/2009 12:12

since i was 5 months preg...Ds is now 2 and a half.
life goes on im just about to complete my degree! yeah!

lostdad · 06/04/2009 15:15

2 years since my ex took my ds.

I've been to court 7 times so far for him to be allowed to spend time with me.

When he is with me, I am a lone parent and I am his sole carer. He loves it!

juicychops · 06/04/2009 15:33

since xmas eve 2005 when ex left us for someone else. ds was 11 months. ds is now nearly 4 and a half and his dad hasn't seen him for 3 years (through his own choice)

i love it being just me and ds its a million times better this way
