Hi,

Just want to ask if anyone has any views on frustrations or successes in helping keep up with kids interests when they also want and need to spend time with another parent.

I am posting my question for 3rd time as had no replies due to misunderstanding.

Cheers JZ

Yea but Helen I have repeated myself as to why I am here, My personal role with friends kids, the work and experience and insights or questions from work

I do know the 'spirit' of the message boards in many ways its no different to any other apart from having to keep repeating info

The prob is that the issue is not just from how I come across it is how you also come across also, I have shared more stuff about me than I was goin to and still thats not been enough.

I am not the only person look at namecahngenamechange - thread on teacher who told kids were thin or fat as an experiment.

There needs to be more space for people to accept the questions whether new member or not and see how the thread develops itself, the credibility of the poster will come out by that.

I have been as personal as honest and as patient as I can be and just start a fresh.

I am not using the message boards to try to 'help' everyone I reply to posts that interest me and if I have a view or opinion then I will share it. Ideally if it is helpful then great and if not then ignore it
I learn by reading other views also.

JZ

Thud , right I must now extract my head from brick wall and go to bed, some of us have also done quite enough sharing and have kids to get up for school in the morning. Feel free to trample on but your feet are looking hoof shaped. Gawd you can tell its late, I am normaly the voice of reason, right now I sound like the voice of someone who can't be arsed trying to explain the obvious.

Ok, over to HQ. I'm tired of trying to argue and they're aware of you as you know, (and not because of me - someone else had your first post deleted, I never even saw it) so I'll let them decide from now on.

I don't buy a second of it but it ain't my place to - you'll soon find people judge you on your posts and you'll be welcomed or not according to them.

Posting your whole relationship status on the other thread wasn't very appropriate though. Nor trying to badmouth me last night to anyone who would listen. But I'm not overly bothered as I obviously made you quite cross.

Bye for now - this place might be big enough for us to avoid each other!

You don't buy a second of what - I don't understand that bit ?? I'm not being sarcastic I really don't understand

Yes post was deleted cos someone posted an inappropriate response there was nothin wrong with what I put.

sorry, Helen could I also ask why was it not appropriate to put my whole relationship status on another thread?
I was trying to be honest so as not to get questions about why I was asking a question etc..

Badmouthing- my patience had run out by then as you had problems understanding my reasons for posting, and I had repeated the same facts over again. I don't make a habit of bad-mouthing people and only one post had your name in it on another thread, and the ones I replied to you were justified at the time.
HQ are aware of you too

But at some point I am going to change my nickname to start a fresh anyhow.
