Hi there. I am a new single mother who wants a fresh start this year. I would like to meet other mums with babies under 1 who would like to meet up for coffee, shopping, a bit of a moan, share baby stories, gym, swimming... or just a general chat from time to time. It would be great if you live in EAST, SOUTH EAST OR NORTH LONDON. Hope to hear from you all soon!! The more the merrier!!

Do you not have a local mumsnet area, it may be worth posting on there or tagging on to the end of a meet up thread.

Good luck.

Oh, I am new to this. How do I do that? Or find out?

At the top of this page is a tab saying local, you can then choose your area.

Also look on the meetup topic.

DC is 'darling children'
Eldest daughter is 13 and the youngest is 11 so they are at school most of the time.

I'm in Ilford.

Hi,
Have a look at www.SingleWithKids.co.uk, single parent meets are arranged all around the country and there's a holiday in May specifically for single parents with pre-schoolers and babies.

If you have time away from your little one, I'd also recommend an activity group called Spice - they have everything from plane walking through to pole dancing, summer balls to fancy dress parties, predominantly for single adults - brilliant fun !

Gingerbread run local groups around the country - www.gingerbread.org.uk - if you give them a call they'll let you know your nearest group.

Hope this helps!
