Stuff left out everywhere

The house can go from ok to loads of stuff just left out everywhere on the floor, on kitchen sides, on table, on bedroom floor in 24 hours. Not from me, from my child. Who's 12 now so it's not like she's little. She doesn't ever seem to put anything away after herself. I am very far from being someone who needs a perfectly tidy house but I just want an ok house. A house where people do put the away after themselves. It makes me feel stressed and like I can't relax.
I refuse to do it myself, all the stuff she's left out because she should be putting it away herself and obviously needs to learn.
So I leave it till she does it. But she finds it overwhelming and if I just say tidy up, she's inevitably do half then say it's done. So we've come up with me doing a list of all the little things that need putting away so she can follow it and tick it off. But obviously that's more work for me. But it's best out of the options because at least it gets done then by her.
My head feels full.

Big lidded basket like a wicker hamper. Chuck it all in, shut the lid. Job done.
If you want to be harsh, anything left in the hamper on bins night is thrown away.
She’ll learn.

God I wish

Not that long ago I filled 3 bin bags of her stuff she'd left out and put it in the shed so she couldn't have it till we put it away

I wish she learnt from consequences

Anyway I'm not just talking about stuff I can do that with. It's cups, rubbish, stuff on the table so you can't use the table
