Summer holidays my arse

Anyone else detest the summer “holidays” with a passion? Alone with children for 6 weeks? Juggling a full time work schedule and keeping children entertained. Cooking balanced meals, trying to get work done and the kids running around shouting that they’re bored? I fucking hate it.

Totally, I have a very tight routine to manage work and childcare normally, but it falls apart in summer. Mine is booked into holiday clubs but they don't cover the full working hours so I'm usually bloody late and having to sneak away early (which I don't want to do, I want to pull my weight). 6 weeks of chasing my tail tbh.
