Do you ever feel like you do too much and want a week off

Have just posted a thread about wishing someone else wouold do the tea for a change.

I have dp here and i still get shattered and fed up. Mind you perhaps thats because he does NON of the housework, childcare or anything else .

I would love a week off, but then knowing me i'd probably get bored.

I used to work part time b4 kids and paint without any distractions - you NEVER have the 100% focus you feel you should (studio too cold, worried about this and that) don't forget you are painting as a human not as a machine! keep on keeping on

The home stuff is the real drain ...have you got a friend anyone who can give you even an hour just to yourself?

Wild i wont give up college promise! I love it when i get in, it's wonderful. I have had such a lovely day today going and you cant help but be motivated and inspired as soon as you arrive in the studio. I couldn't get things down quick enough, i even broke the hair dryer spped drying my sketch book. Luckily enough on the way home i met my brother and he wondered if i would mind if he took my kids out for dinner. Did he have to ask twice, i think not.
Perhaps you should set yourself a target, one sketch before sunday.
