Kids are at their dads again and I have the choice of either a)sanding down the woodwork in my downstairs loo, or b) cutting the grass.

Hmmm, tough choice .

Cut the gras .. and then sit down ouside to admire your handiwork with a glass (or three!) of wine.

learningallthetime · 06/06/2008 17:36

gras - grass

IllegallyBrunette · 06/06/2008 17:39

Didn't buy any wine

It makes me feel all depressed etc if I drink it alone so didn't bother.

Might order chinese for dinner though.

Raining too hard to cut grass here!

My boys are having a few hours with their dad, and I have just had a cup of tea while enjoying the quiet!

Pinkchampagne · 06/06/2008 17:41

Are they staying the night, IB?

Mine have just gone, ex was waiting when we got back from a friend's house - would have been on time but had to deal with tantrumming 2yo when I said it was time to go because daddy would be waiting.
Going for a walk with a friend tonight - excercise and gossip .

charliecat · 06/06/2008 17:55

I find those jelly baby lollies a little disturbing! Something about the shape & the way they flop!!

IllegallyBrunette · 06/06/2008 18:34

I thought my freezer was knackered when I first got them, as I didn't realise they were meant to be wobbly.

I am fancying a chinese take away now you have mentioned them, but have put a jacket potato in the oven already.

IllegallyBrunette · 06/06/2008 21:03

Pinkchampagne · 06/06/2008 22:03

Now you relax in front of some trash on the telly with a glass of wine!

IllegallyBrunette · 07/06/2008 08:26

Morning all

Have to admitt that I love being able to wake up on a Saturday when I want to and not when Ds wants his breakfast

Just having a nice cuppa and some toast and then I'm gonna have a quick bath and then cut the front lawn and then get on with the sanding.

You lucky thing! I was woken up before 7am by a very loud & demanding DS2. The boys have been squabbling & pushing me to the limit all morning, and my milk has gone off so no cup of tea for me!
