Toddler Saturday afternoons

Just wondering what your toddler weekend afternoon looks like?

DC is quite energetic and is dropping the nap. We do a playdate in the morning, usually a park then home for lunch, and used to be for nap. We've got cbeebs and colouring on while I have a sit down!

But the afternoons I haven't cracked yet, we've already fed the ducks and had a walk.

We do crafts in the evening and sometimes the library or swimming but DC really feels the cold so we're not going at the minute. Might do a sensory tray.

I'm a bit baked out since Christmas was fairly heavy on the baking.

Like I said, dc's a busy bubs and I'm knackered from work/toddlering. If I don't find ways to fill the time creatively things go a bit bonkers at home.

I'd do a really long bath in your position. Buy some foam soap and make potions and pouring etc.

@MuggleMe thank you! That's a great idea, we're a bit muddy and chilly from playing outside so actually that's two birds with one stone!

I have a rainy day box of bits (stickers, play doh, chalk) I was considering getting that out. Bath is much better xx
