went out to lunch today with my team and several of the men (fathers) told me how much they admire me and "take their hats off" to me for mananging to be a single parent
I work 3 days a week.
I have a 3 yr old DD and 6 yr old DS.

This particular man said he admires the fact I manage to work & pay/care for my 2 young children especially with fact my ex lives 3 hr drive away.

It was so nice to hear someone say that they think Im doing a good job.

So to all you single parents, can I pass on a big "WELL DONE"

I actually have a DP now who has custody of his DD (10) so he too deserves a "WELL DONE"

We dont live together but do spend weekends together.

It was just so nice to have someone say this to me today. He said he doesnt know how I do it. I dont have a choice! You just get on with it.

I asked DS today if there was anything he would like me to do different and he said "stop me getting tonsillitus"

If only life was that easy
