Anyone had a DNA test through the CSM?

Hi, i have a 14 year old son and finally went to the CSM as his dad is rubbish at paying maintenance. My ex has now claimed he’s not the father 🤯 He had requested a DNA test which I’m happy to do because he is 100% the father. Has anyone got any experience of this? I read up a bit and apparently he needs to take two passport sized photos, what’s stopping him from getting a friend to take the test? Will I be able to view the photos of the person taking the test? Can I send the CSM pictures of him to compare? Honestly, since he’s denied paternity, I wouldn’t put anything past him.

In DNA testing, identity is verified through ID and passport photos to prevent fraud. The lab typically won’t share photos with you but will confirm the individual tested. If you have concerns, discuss them with the Child Support Agency and consider seeking legal advice for added protection. Document everything for future reference.

Thanks for your reply @dianaBarill , it’s reassuring to know IDs will be checked and it will all be professional.
