Seeking advice on behalf on a friend. Her ex has a high paying job, but recently managed to give child maintenance 'evidence' he is on very little. He now pays her nothing. She tried to contest this with child maintenance but they claim to have investigated and he has nothing more to pay. She doesn't know how he's hiding the money, maybe dividends he will pay himself in a few years time? Would he then have to back pay or not? Any advice appreciated as the system seems very opaque. She's trying to get through to child maintenance on the phone herself but has been on hold for well over an hour twice, and they hung up twice!
